The object is in the extreme left part of the picture. The nucleus of M33 is on the right for reference. I noticed this object a few months after I took the picture. I posted this to alt.binaries.pictures.astro and Michael Richmann was kind enough to send back this response:
Asteroid 1985 Hopmann, at mag. 16.8, is in about the right position with a
reasonable track compared to the animation. So sayeth Skymap Pro...
