The Moon as seen from Earth tilts from side to side (libration) as it makes its monthly orbit around the Earth. You can create stereo images of the Moon by combining two pictures taken when it is tilted in different positions. To get a stereo picture like this of the full moon, you have to wait sometimes months to get two pictures.
